Hello and welcome to www.RupenRao.com.
I am originally from Bombay, India. Mine is a family of good food lovers, and I wasn't far behind in learning the creative art from my sole inspiration - my Mom! I have had a combined effort in her cooking class back home before moving to USA. Here, I resumed my passion with food lovers of Exotic Indian Cuisine in USA. I teach traditional Indian Cuisine and also a blend of east-west, which I simply call Confluence.
I have noticed that many of us get intimidated by the long list of ingredients used in Indian cooking. We think that we need to spend a lot of time and energy in making those delicacies we always craved for. However, over the years, I have invented some simple recipes that will help enable us to make easy, fast and healthy Indian cuisine. Most of the recipes that you will find are created for american kitchens considering our fast pace of life.
The audience for my recipes are food lovers who are interested in learning how to cook easy, fast and healthy Indian food. I encourage you to try and test my recipes and I truly hope that you will find them delectable. I have included some tips and short-cuts to make these recipes simpler.
